The Power of Data Journalism (1:30 - 2:30 PM)

Sandhya Kambhampati, Senior Data & Graphics Reporter at LA Times

In this talk, Kambhampati will talk about the importance of data and investigative journalism. As a data journalist, she combines on the ground reporting with data analysis & data visualizations to hold public officials accountable for their actions. Her talk will cover her recent data work trying to understand the impacts of the L.A. fires.
